RabbitMQ
Server AppRabbitMQ 4.3 is the newest actively maintained release, currently at patch 4.3.4. 5 of 18 tracked cycles remain supported. The next cycle scheduled to reach end-of-life is 3.13, on September 17, 2024.
How RabbitMQ versioning, EOL & security support work
RabbitMQ ships numbered release series with patch releases within each series. Rather than one fixed support-length rule for every series, RabbitMQ's release-information page tracks each series' status directly: fully supported, still inside its support window, or no longer listed and therefore unsupported. Some series are additionally designated LTS (long-term support) candidates, which changes how long they stay covered and by whom.
RabbitMQ vulnerability reports are handled through GitHub Security Advisories on the rabbitmq-server repository or by email. The team investigates disclosures affecting a recent version in a currently supported series and requests a CVE as part of the advisory. Because only currently supported series are investigated and patched, a deployment on an unsupported series will not receive a fix even for a newly disclosed, actively exploited vulnerability.
